Ball and Buck: Making the best shirt in the world, in America.
This Kickstarter project was created to fund the production of our first major product - The Hunters shirt. We have completed the sample run of shirts but need Kickstarter's help (a bit over 15k) in order to cover the manufacturing costs the first full run of shirts that will take approx 3-4 weeks. We have purchased the thread, buttons, tags and materials but in order for our Arkansas factory to fire up their sewing machines and make these amazing shirts, we need the funding that we are hoping to generate through the site. If we are able to raise more than our goal of 15k, we will put the additional capital to work. 50k will enable us to make enough shirts to stock the store and website for the rest of the year. If we raise over 100k we can make more colors and even patterned shirts. If we raise over 250k you can expect to see a full collection of shirts on the shelves in a store near you and you can be proud knowing you had a hand in creating America's next major clothing brand.

Sizing: If you are between sizes, go down in size. Shirts have room in the shoulders and taper by the body for a great look. We offer XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL

We currently own all the materials necessary to produce these great shirts so if we are funded 15k or more on Kickstarter a phone call will be made to the factory and production will begin. As we have already made sample shirts, we have worked out the kinks to ensure the fit is perfect and the shirts are ready to be made.

Yes of course. Once you back the project and select a reward, send me a message letting me know what other item you want and I'll make a note of it. If you want an item that's not on the Kickstarter project shoot me a message and I will let you know the total pledge for the items you would like.
IE) If you want a Hunter's Shirt and a waxed cotton hat, enter $140, choose a Hunter's Shirt as your reward and message me saying you'd also like the waxed hat.

No! While you can certainly dry clean your Hunter's Shirt if you would like, these shirts are meant to be beaten up and washed in a machine washing machine. For best results remove from the dryer while the shirt is slightly damp and put on a hanger. This will reduce wrinkles.

Yes, If you go to the updates section you will find photos of the patterned materials we have purchased in addition to the solids. If you make a pledge you can choose the pattern of your choice. *Note - patterned shirts will have a pocket in place of the logo embroidery.

Yes, we have a prototype of the shirt with a pocket in place of the logo embroidery. If you would prefer to have a pocket over the logo let us know and we can accommodate. Please note that shirts with a pocket will take longer to receive than those with embroidery. Once the project ends we will give you an est in hands date.

The short answer is yes.
The long answer is: because the shirt is designed for men, the body of the shirt tapers in by the waist to prevent excess material from collecting at the waist. In order to make the shirt fit women properly you will take the shirt to a tailor and have them insert a triangle of material at the bottom on each side of the shirt to better fit the female body. So, if you love the shirts, and you're willing to take your Hunter Shirt to a tailor then pledge away!

Once the Kickstarter ends we will send out a survey in which you will select your size and color. If you got multiple shirts you will be able to select multiple sizes and colors.
