We've reached our goal of $500, and we're still going strong! We appreciate everyone who donated and you all can be expecting some goodies! Also, shout out to Maegan Leskovec who has taken on some responsibility on behalf of design.

WarBing Magazine is a non-profit Arts and Culture monthly publication based out of Houston, TX, and founded in Iowa City. The goal of WarBing is to provide a public forum and social platform for up-and-coming artists of all kinds to showcase their work. In addition, Founder Brett Warden and Co-Founder Zach Bingham hope that as WarBing grows, both in size and in scope, they can provide artists with a constantly evolving, organic and collaborative network, as well as a point of connectivity for artists and audiences alike.

  • If I donate, is the magazine free?

    Even if you do not donate, the magazine is still free. We want as many people to get a hold of it to recognize rising artists/writers/musicians.

  • Why $500 dollars? Doesn't it cost more for publishing?

    We chose $500 for the first issue of WarBing just so we could print 100 copies of 16-pager. We'd love to expand that to 32+ pages and closer to 1000 copies. We're testing the waters to see if publishing is for us.

  • How do I get my rewards?

    If you pledge the amount to receive the reward you want, and if we meet the fundraising goal in time, we'll send you a survey when the campaign is over to get mailing info from you!

    If you don't meet the fundraising goal, no rewards are sent out.

  • If the goal is not met, do I get my money back?

    Yes, actually. Transactions will not be processed and voided if the goal is not met. That means during the campaign, you aren't actually charged for your pledge.  However, if we meet the goal in time, the transaction will go through and you'll get pretty rewards!
