A short stop-motion film about the journey of the Earth's heart!
EarthHeart is a short stop-motion animated film that serves as a commentary on how we as humans take things from the Earth, consume them and return them in a lesser condition than which we found them.
I've had the idea for EarthHeart floating around in my head for several years, but knew that when I decided to make it happen, I wanted to do it right. This meant raising money to be able to afford all of the materials that I need, rent out a small studio and dedicate enough time in both production and post-production to complete the project to its fullest potential.
Since childhood, I've been enamored with the art of stop-motion animation, from Wallace & Gromit to The Nightmare Before Christmas. My goal is to create a universally accessible film that is visually stunning, meaningful and encourages people to make more environmentally sustainable choices in their daily lives.
Once the film is complete, I will make the short available to festivals, schools and eventually the internet at large. My hope is that this will lead to having the opportunity to work on many more animation projects to come.
