Hi Everyone!

Thank you all so much for making this dream into a reality.  Last week, just in time for Decadence's fall concert, The Acappellavengers, hard copies of Just in Capes arrived!  CDs!  Real CDs!  In the flesh!  After months and months of hard work, the experience of finally unwrapping and playing a final copy of Just in Capes was unreal.

DeCadence wants to share that unreal experience with you!  So please fill out surveys so we can ship CDs to you!

A few notes though:

First off, I apologize that there have been hiccups and whatnot in getting CDs printed and shipped to you.  As you can see, we missed our estimated delivery date of October 2012 by about a month and a half, but I assure you the CD will be worth the wait! :-)

Secondly, as Berkeley's winter break is approaching, DeCadence cannot guarantee that your CDs will be shipped before the end of the school year.  Please fill out the survey ASAP to expedite this process.

Thirdly, please note that if you ordered a signed CD, shipping may take longer because we need to get everybody to sign CDs.  Also, because some of our members have graduated since the recording of Just in Capes and are off doing bigger and better things in exotic lands like Washington DC and Canada, we will not be able to have every singer's name signed on your copy of the CD.

Finally, if you were one of the generous backers who will be receiving a cape, be prepared that wearing a DeCadence cape can make you irresistibly attractive.  Always wear proper safety gear when wielding a Decadence cape and enjoy responsibly.

We're going to have our music listed on iTunes very soon!  When we do, I would love for you all to help us get the word out about our album.  I'll be posting a video later with some behind the scenes clips and sample tracks from Just in Capes to help promote our music.

First off, congratulations everyone!  We did it!  Thanks to your dedication and generous donations DeCadence is well on its way to making you a rocking CD!  We will be sending out a survey soon so that your backer rewards (i.e. rockin' tunes) will be mailed to the correct places.  Once again, thank you all so much.  This CD would not be possible without the love and support of our friends and family.

Secondly, now that we have edited songs coming back, we put together a teaser trailer for our new album featuring four of the songs on our CD.  Check it out here!

If you like what you hear, please send this video to your friends and family to let them know about our project.  Post on Facebook, Tweet to your followers, email your study group, sing to your brethren from mountaintops!  Let them know that they can still pre-order hard copies of the CD by emailing decadence.berkeley@gmail.com with the subject "CD presale" and their name and phone number.
