Most atlases have been received by our kickstarter backers and internet sales customers. The final batch of domestic softbound books hit the USPS mail stream last week! The books are traveling via media mail so expect up to 7-10 business days for final delivery. Our International softcover shipment (including Canada) was picked up on Friday, March 8, with no definite estimated delivery date since they are traveling all over the globe.
The hard cover atlases had a minor snafu at the bindery but it has been resolved and those atlases should be in our hands this week (in their beautiful dust jackets!) and then en route to their domestic and international destinations soon after.
Now that the physical atlas is printed and almost all delivered, we can turn our attention to the eAtlas. We will post another update when the eAtlas is available for free download.
With regret, we announce the following errors in the final publication:
Eliot Waring should have been listed as part of the production team on the title page and the credits page in the back of the atlas. Eliot is the very talented videographer who donated his considerable skill and many hours to creating the video that was extremely important to the success of our Kickstarter campaign. This error was not caught in the proofing process. Eliot Waring is named in the "Guerrilla Cartography" essay in the front of the atlas.
Farm to Table: Community Supported Agriculture in Massachusetts. A bar chart showing the growth of CSAs in Massachusetts since 1986 fell out of the document and this error was not caught in the proofing process.
Both of these errors have been corrected and will not persist in the eAtlas. The editors take full responsibility for these errors and offer our heartfelt apologies to all.
Thank you to all who have supported this project through their donated talents and labors as well as those who backed our project on Kickstarter or purchased an atlas through our website. We have still have a few copies to sell so tell your friends and your librarians that the atlas can still be purchased at guerrillacartography.net
