What is Kodak 135?
A short film in the thriller/mystery genre. No monsters, no gore; just an unsettling story with good old-fashioned atmosphere and suspense. It's a student run project from inception to completion.
What's the story?
While on a three week camping trip through the New England wilderness, avid hiker and photographer Lara stops in an out-of-the-way general store staffed by two peculiar individuals.
Why do we need funding?
The expenses of making a film (even a short one) add up quickly. We've done everything possible to get props, wardrobe, and a great cast together without spending money. However, some important expenses remain: equipment rental, transportation, set/location fees, and post production costs. All we're asking for is the minimum amount needed to take care of these expenses.
The film will be premiered on April 28th, 2012 at the Avon Cinema in Providence, RI.
If you love the craft of filmmaking (or just watching movies) as much as we do, please help us develop Kodak 135 into the best short film possible!
