Hope you're all enjoying this beautiful day. My poker buddy Chris came through big time with an awesome pledge. yay! I want to thank each and everyone of you for your support. Without you the dream wouldn't be possible.

I was sworn into the Hollywood chapter of the VFW post 43 last night. I meet four of the Tuskegee Airmen. It was great.

We have 21 days left. I don't know if you've heard about the remarks made by a reporter on FOX. She said that women joining the military should expect to be raped.  Sick.

Just wanted to update you on our progress.  Today I'm meeting with Sydney T. Poitier (Sydney Poitier's daughter) for the role of Carla. I worked with Sydney in a film entitled Blues. She was great. Sydney has won several awards and an nomination from the NAACP Image Award.

Not finished yet. Academy Award nominee for the Color Purple, Margaret Avery likes the script and wants to be involved.  We're meeting Friday to talk about it.

Lastly, the script is in the hands of a named actor who is willing to take a smaller role to help out.
