About this project
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
When we created the Bon Rappetite website as a lark last year, we never could've imagined what'd happen. A few weeks ago the site went viral, got tens of thousands of hits and coverage in places like The Huffington Post, CNN, Bon Appetit, The Guardian, MTV, and more! Why, you might ask? Because people love HILARIOUS THINGS, and Bon Rappetite certainly is that. We're turning the site—a non-existent hip-hop themed restaurant with rap-inspired menu items—into a for-real cookbook. More than 50 recipes, more than 100 pages, more than, oh, let's say, 1,000 jokes! Don't you wanna know how to make Wu-Tang Clams? Don't you crave a bite of Mushroom RZAotto? Don't you just giggle (and salivate) at the thought of Roastface Killah? Don't you want to finish things off with an Apricot Bambaataa cocktail?
The book will feature an introduction from a special Atlanta celebrity we can't quite announce just yet, full color photos, meticulously crafted menu items, and more!
HOW WE'LL SPEND THE MONEY:
So we've done a lot of analysis of costs and expenses, and here's how we're gonna use the raised funds.
• Marketing and Promotion
• Printing Costs for the books
• Legal / Industry Fees (ISBN, UPC, Contracts, Legalese)
• Photography and Production
And remember, 10% of the profits generated from the sales of Bon Rappetite: The Cookbook will be donated to one of Atlanta's finest institutions: the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change.

Connected as Everett Steele (791 friends)
Bon Rappetite is a collaboration of Everett Steele, Chris Hassiotis, and Bunny Mcintosh. All three are native Atlantans, huge hip hop fans, and all around cool people.
Bunny Mcintosh is a writer, a blogger (meltingdolls.com) and was voted "Most Likely to Contribute to the Destruction of Mankind" by her high school senior class. When she isn't provoking the innocent into a life of grifting, you can find her performing with the band SEXBBQ, selling blood (not her own), and collecting decorative dog-shaped soaps.
Chris Hassiotis is a journalist, a chef, and quite possibly the most interesting man on the planet. From Atlanta by way of Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and most recently "America's Desert Paradise" Phoenix, AZ. He cooks a mean brunch, throws amazing parties, and once killed his own sensei in a duel over a parking spot.
Everett Steele is an American treasure. He is part mad scientist, part smooth criminal, and part wolf. When he isn't solving mysteries or performing his 1 man stage show of the entire series of LOST, he finds some time to write about stuff that no one cares about. Fun Fact: Everett spent most of 1992 as a body double for Ghostface Killah, filling in for Ghost at parties and photoshoots, despite the fact that at the time Everett was 4'8", white, and 11 years old.
