Dinner Confidential is a video project committed to changing how America eats dinner. Our goal is to get people cooking wholesome foods and eating together. Faye (the chef) and Kelie (social skills/family dynamics) are essentially a human dinner repair kit for families who have lost the motivation/skill to cook and eat together. Taking on one family at a time, Faye and Kelie start with an extensive questionnaire to pinpoint specific problems. Is anybody home at dinnertime? Who cooks? What is in the fridge? How many times a week does the family sit down together? Why isn't dinner happening? We invite ourselves over. Faye gets the family wanting to cook and Kelie gets everybody home and connecting at the table. It's a change that has to happen.

Facts: A CASA study found that a majority of teens who ate three or fewer meals a week with their families wished they ate with their families more often. According to CASA, the less the family eats together, the less healthy the food and the less they talk. According to A.C. Nielson Co. parents spend an average of 38.5 minutes a week in meaningful conversation with their kids. According to the Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, frequent family meals are linked to a lower risk of drinking, smoking and using drugs.
