The Backstory

I started making jams and jellies when my husband brought home way too many peaches to consume.   I was looking for lower sugar options because my daughter has a sensitive digestive track, and store bought jams and juices are loaded with the types of sugars that make her uncomfortable.   And then I discovered I LOVE to make jam. I decided to give my best friend a call and see if she'd like to join my project and that is how OmNomNom Jams and Jellies was born!

What We Do

I have experimented with many different flavors, and I am always looking to find new ways to combine fruits.   I do not use preservatives, just the hot water canning I learned when I was young and an avid gardener. 

Every type of jam we make can be altered to be low sugar or made with Splenda.  

The current project we are trying to fund is a large scale production of 30 flavors.  We are hoping to make 4 batches of each flavor - one low/no sugar and the rest 'regular' sugar amounts.  We will carry savory and sweet jams/jellies and no ingredient is off the table.  Some of the flavors we are looking to produce are:

• Honey Lemon (GREAT in tea and made with Local Honey)
• Strawberry Rhubarb
• Strawberry Daiquiri
• Margarita Jelly
• Peach Ginger
• Chocolate Raspberry (Dark Chocolate of course!)
• The Honor Empire Guardian Grape Jelly (Requested Reward Flavor)
• Cranberry Grape
• Strawberry Passion-fruit
• Curly's Carrot Cake (Reward Flavor)
• Orange Pear
• Cherry Rhubarb
• Pretty Peach
• Groove-a-licious Grape Raspberry (reward flavor)

We have secured a commercial kitchen to produce our jams so as to keep the product as delicious (and as safe) as possible.

What will the Money Will be Used for?

Some of the money raised will be used for boring things like license fees and kitchen rental, but the bulk of it is for procuring the tasty and preferably locally grown ingredients to make our delicious jams and jellies!  So that means a lot of farm visits for us, and tasty jam for everyone else!

What Else will OmNomNom Offer?

It is also in the works to offer small 4oz jars for gift baskets - sampler assortments and even party favors!  In other words, we will gladly custom party favors with personalized labels! 
Bridal Showers, Weddings, Baby Showers, Birthdays, Anniversaries... the possibilities are endless!

What will be done with any extra?

Should we top our Funding Goal - you can bet we will put even more effort into making the best possible Jams and Jellies!  And just a notice, you CAN chose more then one funding option if you want, just pledge whatever amount in any category and we will contact you to ensure you get exactly what you are wanting! 

And if you decide you do not want a jam flavor named after you and you chose one of those reward levels- not a problem, just let us know.
