A middle school chorus from Queens is featured in a short documentary about the process of rehearsing and recording an original song.
The P.S. 127 Middle School Chorus is so excited to record the song Rise Up and Sing. Our music teacher, Mr. Estreicher, wrote it for us as a gift this year. This inspirational song is about rising up above the difficulties of life and using your voice to make a change.
We’ll be recording it at a large New York City studio and a professional video director will create a short documentary about the process—from rehearsal to recording.
At the end of this project we’ll be able to share our hard work with our whole school community. We hope this will inspire other students to develop their talents and make a change.
We need to raise at least $3,000 to make this recording and documentary. But we're really hoping to reach $6,000. This would give us more time in the studio and would help us make a longer film.
Please give a little, or give a lot. Help us to RISE UP AND SING!
