OUR STORY:
Many people around the world miss having new Beatles style music. Others are simply too young to know what they're missing. Often, Beatle Tribute Bands have tried to recapture their magic by imitating their appearance and performing Beatles songs the way The Beatles used to. These tribute bands would hire look-a-likes and sound-a-likes, to give audiences that warm, fuzzy, feeling of nostalgia. But of course, something is always missing from this. True, these tribute bands can sound very good imitating The Beatles, but they are always singing old songs, created by The Beatles. Why not try creating a new band, with some new songs, composed and performed in the style and genre of The Beatles, and incorporate this original music into the tribute. This is the final step in the process of imitation, and ultimately, is not really imitation at all. As long as the songs have an original feel, are of good quality, and stay true to the genre, they are appropriate for consideration as a Beatles Tribute, even though they were not created by The Beatles. In the past, Badfinger came very close to delivering on this objective, but they're no longer with us, nor are The Beatles. These sad facts were the impetus for Liverpool Dreams' creation. We simply missed having new Beatles style songs to listen to. So we set out to create our own. Its all about the love of the music.
In an effort to succeed in this project, a group of Beatles fans got together and sought out the right talent, wherever we could find it. We hired a talented composer, who grew up on the stuff, as well as musicians and Beatles impersonator vocalists who could deliver the goods.
We realized early on, that in order to pull it off, we needed to create a studio album of all original songs just the way The Beatles used to do it, and we hired our very own version of their George Martin to serve as co-producer and help complete the project. We slaved for months creating it, traveling from one end of the country to another (this one was made in the USA) and in the end, produced The Liverpool Dreams Double Album, consisting of our Jamrun and Monkey Tango Cd's, which have both been selling well on the internet at:
Right now, we are ready to take things to the next level, and in order to do this, we require more capital. Our original investment in creating the CD's and promoting them in movie theaters, on the radio, on television, and in Billboard and Variety Magazine, was almost $200,000. Now we are seeking an additional $200,000 to do the following:

PURCHASE EQUIPMENT and HIRE, TRAIN and DEVELOP a Liverpool Dreams Performing Band to tour globally, singing all of our original Beatles style music live in various venues. Right now, unfortunately, we do not have a performing band (but we can create more songs in the studio). We will also need to promote our new "live" band in order to obtain gigs.

If you honor us with a pledge of $10,000 for this reward, the New Liverpool Dreams Band will visit a location of your choice, even if it is your home, to PERFORM OUR SONGS LIVE in front of your friends, relatives and guests, for any occasion. The performance will run between two and three hours, and include our songs from our current Cds. This concert can be for weddings, parties, corporate functions, or other types of events. Please keep in mind that you need to select a venue that is large enough for a concert, and make sure that a live concert is allowed at the location. We will bring all our equipment and a sound system if one is not provided. If this Kickstarter project succeeds, we will require approximately six months to hire and train the new Liverpool Dreams band, so we cannot book anything until 2013. We will take reservations for concerts at the expiration of this Kickstarter project. We cannot guarantee any specific dates yet, but we will be able to starting in January. We guarantee to attempt to coordinate a concert on your behalf in 2013, if you are flexible and provide us some choices for dates. We will owe you this concert until we make good on it. One way or another, you will have your own private Liverpool Dreams concert. Please note that our band will be traveling by tour bus, which means if a concert is located over 600 miles distance from Los Angeles, an additional fee for time and distance might be required. But the above rate will be good for any concerts within this travel radius. Also, please remember that the Liverpool Dreams band members are NOT Beatle impersonators. They will be singing our songs and their appearance will not necessarily be Beatle-ish. But they will knock your socks off.

If you honor us with a pledge of $10,000 for this reward, YOU WILL RECEIVE THE FOLLOWING: WE WILL PAY UP TO $1,000 for one or two ROUND TRIP air tickets for you to visit the unique Recording Studio where Liverpool Dreams was created (which is located about 40 miles from DisneyWorld in Orlando, Florida) and we will put you up for THREE NIGHTS in a BEST WESTERN Hotel conveniently located across the street from the studio which we will also pay for. But wait; there's more, as the commercials always tell you. WE WILL ALSO PAY FOR YOU TO HAVE ONE FULL DAY OF STUDIO TIME (typically around 8 hours), at this very same studio, working with the genius co-producer of Liverpool Dreams to learn the history of our music, and/or to create your own music and songs or learn the process of making music from scratch. Trust me, its a fantastic experience and is well worth the time and effort. You will never forget what you learn and be amazed how you can create music with a little help from your friends. Don't be shy; try to sing a song yourself, even if its one of ours. Hopefully, by the end of the day, you could complete one song and receive a CD from the studio. You never know. Regardless, the experience should be a great one. We will of course introduce you to our Producer and tell him all about you so that you won't need to worry about a thing, other than where to go to take a lunch break between the morning and afternoon sessions. One more thing. WE WILL ALSO PAY UP TO $ 300 for a car rental or for Taxi Service (or even Limo Service) so that you can go directly from the Orlando Airport to the Studio, without much fuss. We will also assist you coordinating this wonderful adventure, so that you arrive on a day when the Studio has a clear schedule.
