We're just over 50% of the way there! Here's an update.

Hey folks, Beaver here. After four years, the long national nightmare is over. I have finished my new album. It’s called Macro/Micro. The good news is that it’s quite good (if I do say so myself). The bad news is that I can’t play it live by myself. This makes touring difficult if I want to do it justice.

 
This is where you, and Kickstarter, come in. I’m raising money to create an album-length film that will be used in two different ways. Firstly, it can be watched on its own with the CD as a soundtrack. Secondly, it can be projected behind me with an already re-mixed, but synchronous, musical track in a stage show. I plan on touring this way this summer. The stage production also has a limited theatrical set and spoken word pieces.
 
We need to finish filming, manufacture CDs and DVDs, purchase a few pieces of equipment for the live show, and do limited publicity.
 
All these plans are a natural extension of this particular album, and, I feel, that this is the proper way to give it life… to put it in front of as many people as I can.
 
For longtime fans, your help with this makes it possible for other people to discover something that you already like. Let’s not keep the secret anymore. There’s a lot about this that is new ground for me, but may you be “ a stranger in familiar land.”

For those of you new to me, I hope you find this interesting, challenging, edifying… and funny.
