About this project
Hello friends and fans of Austentatious!
We've recently had some exciting news; after successful productions of Austentatious spanning the last six years and three different countries, Playscripts in New York City is publishing and licensing the show! This means that there will now be an official way for theatre companies to present Austentatious all over the globe! In light of this, we finally are creating a full length professional studio album to accompany the published script.
This is where we're asking for your help! We need to raise $4,000 towards the cost of hiring professional actors, musicians, and sound designers, renting studio space, and manufacturing CDs. Our plan is to record the album this June/July in Philadelphia. Please assist by giving whatever you can--no donation is too small or too large!
And we won't stop there! If we are fortunate enough to raise above $4,000 we are planning to put any extra money towards a writer's retreat to create a long awaited second show, so if you are able to contribute beyond our goal, we doubly appreciate it. We will certainly put your money to good use!
We are so grateful to all of you for being with us on this amazing journey; whether you have donated to the show in the past, have bought a ticket to one of the productions, or have supported us along the way in any capacity, we couldn't have done it with out you!

Austentatious was created by a like-minded group of theater artists who began their collaboration at Goldsmiths, University of London. Hailing from the UK, USA, and Canada, these artists each bring a unique background and aesthetic orientation to their work. Members of the writing team – Matt Board, Jane Caplow, Kate Galvin, Luisa Hinchliff and Joe Slabe – aim to be leaders in the music theater world. Together they developed AmDram the Musical, which has since been produced under the title Austentatious.
