Dear “Dancing in Zimbabwe” backers,

It is with great disappointment that I have to inform you that RIOULT’s trip to Zimbabwe to perform in the Harare International Festival of the Arts has unfortunately been canceled. Last week, Manuel Bagorro, Director of the Festival, sadly contacted us to say that the US Embassy support fell through. Manuel and RIOULT staff tried very hard to replace the lost funds with other sources but unfortunately have been unable to secure funding making this trip impossible.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you for your generous donations for this worthwhile endeavor.

We would also like to encourage all of you to become involved with RIOULT by signing up for our mailings and eblasts and perhaps consider redirecting your donations through our website www.rioult.org towards our continued effort to provide year-round health care for our dancers.
