Zombie Prepper is a thrilling and immersive game that combines the real-world of disaster preparedness (aka 'PREPPING') with a fictional storyline about a complete collapse of industrialized civilization via a zombie holocaust. Players can opt to play in a 'real world' mode where their actual preparations factor into the game or 'simulator' mode, which will offer all the fun and excitement without having to do it for real. Regardless of how you choose to play, the information tactics and techniques you use to prep and survive in the game will be based on real-world scenarios. Our goal with Zombie Prepper is to make learning how to be prepared for anything FUN!

THE STORY:

The future looks grim.

You can feel it in your bones; something big is on the horizon. Whether it be a global pandemic, economic collapse, atomic attack or zombie holocaust only one thing is certain - the world of tomorrow will look nothing like the world of today...

The world of ZOMBIE PREPPER begins just prior to the collapse of civilization. The lights are still on and the world is still turning - time to prepare. You've become 'awake' to the possibility of a tragic end for mankind and decided it's time to get ready. Guns, bullets, food, water - your task is simple - on a limited budget, acquire the tools and training necessary for survival before the SHTF. With the help of an underground network of fellow preppers and experts you will devise a strategy, chart a course and get equipped for the end of the world as we know it - but will you be ready in time? The clock is ticking and no one knows when disaster will strike....

It all happened so fast... After the first spotty reports of a new strain of 'killer flu,' panic spread. No one was immune. There was no treatment, no vaccine. As the bodies began to pile up in cities around the world, most people stayed home to care for their frightened families. You watched it all go down on TV as riots erupted and the government declared martial law. FEMA camps began to fill up with anyone who resisted - but the camps proved a perfect breeding ground and the virus spread even faster... Millions died.

With no one to keep them turning, the wheels of civilization finally rattled loose. The lights went out, water stopped flowing, store shelves lay bare...

Those who survived witnessed the birth of a new world, a world without rule of law. It was everyone for themselves as armed gangs began scouring the homes of the dead for supplies and killing anyone who got in their way. Then things got really weird - the dead began to rise. They wanted flesh. They attacked at random and they didn't care who you were - everyone was prey.

PRESENT DAY

You are a survivor. Your early preparations got you through the initial unpleasantness. You now live in a world of chaos. What happens next? Where will you go from here? Do you bug out and head for higher ground in hopes of finding refuge? Do you stay put and try to rebuild some kind of local community? Are you a lone-wolf, going solo? Maybe your family made it through - or some friends - are they going to slow you down or offer much needed support as you begin to rebuild?

Whichever path you chose don't expect it to be easy. You're outnumbered, outgunned and the only future is the one you create. If you've planned ahead your chances are good. If not, you're zombie food.

SO WHAT WILL THE GAME BE LIKE?

Players will begin by creating a character or avatar. You can choose to be a 'lone-wolf' or form a group. If you choose the group route, your group can consist of fictional characters you create or friends and family who also have the app installed. The combined resources and skills of your group will collectively benefit you all, but those advantages are balanced by your lower mobility and the 'weakest link' factor...

It's going to be a blast!

YOUR CHOICES COUNT

As the story unfolds, you will find yourself in situations where you will be forced to make a choice. Do you invest your limited budget in guns and ammo or seeds and gardening supplies? Do you leave the city when the going gets rough or do you choose to stick around and wait out the chaos? Choose wisely and survive the next challenge. Choose poorly and things will get ugly.

INVENTORY YOUR PREPS

Zombie Prepper will have a built in inventory function designed to help you keep track of your existing preps and set goals for things you haven't gotten to yet. It will keep you on track and on budget so you're never caught off guard when disaster strikes! Think of it like Foursquare - for Preppers!

By tracking your everyday, real-life preps you'll unlock valuable achievements and gain points that will advance your in-game character, unlocking the story as you go.
