Schlock Mercenary Tiles and Artwork
Good afternoon everyone,
We are getting close to the finalization of all the artwork, tiles, tokens, punch boards, box, rulebook and the whole nine yards. The rulebook is currently out being proof read by independent, non-affiliated individuals. Demo copies of the Learning Game were sent out to Howard and a few other individuals for convention play and more blind playtesting.
Below are some examples of the artwork / tiles for the game. These are set up with manufacturing bleeds currently because that's how we use them. The two Large Floor Tiles are 5.6" x 5.6", the Double Floor Tile is 1.4" x 2.8" (This is a tile from the promo punch board) and the Construction Bot is just great. You will notice that the floor tiles are numbered (3A, 9B, etc.). This is done so we can more easily convey how to set up boards for different scenarios.

The learning game rules were pulled while we update them with the newest information (and also because I swapped web servers).
The full learning game PDF will be released once we finalize the artwork and counters so that people can play with the new artwork. I could release a copy of the playtest learning game rules + playtest art, but in about a week, we can get you the good stuff.
@Jay & turkishproverb: We can do it one of two ways. I can post the Learning game PDF and people can print it out and play it. Or, for Cons with active participation in the web comic / board game world, I can send one person a hand made copy for demo purposes provided that people take pictures of the game in progress. Also, I note that the link to the learning game rules from the project description page appears to be dead.

The project description says "All supporters will be given access to a PDF that includes these rules plus artwork to print out the Learning games include characters and floor tiles."
Does that PDF exist yet? Should we have gotten a link to it somewhere?

Matt, I personally can't make it up to Pax East (Work vacation issues for the 2012 calender year, grr).
However, if someone would like to spend a few hours demo'ing the game one night, I have no problem sending them a Learning Game demo copy to run a few Frag Fest scenarios. Matt, if you're interested, email me at livingworldsgames@gmail.com, and we can get you set up.
