In 2008 Teresa met Ben. Both being solo sailors and liveaboards, they traveled thousands of miles together, each in their own boat. This project will be the first that unites them in one boat. Teresa has a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Michigan and a Master of Arts, Fine Arts. Currently Teresa is an Oceanography educator and dance team coach. She writes regularly for her blog sailingsimplicity.com. Ben pursued a degree in Human Ecology with a focus in marine biology. Ben is also a talented drummer a successful independent web designer.
