A LITTLE HISTORY:

In 2007, a team of creative film makers got together and created a feature length film "Raiders of the Damned." It was distributed world-wide on a very, very small budget. Since then, Producer Milko Davis has been searching for a good story driven film. Ideas were hard to find at first, until one day... Milko met IFBB Pro Bodybuilder Andy Haman and realized he had found an Icon image that would tear up a film and its audience. Andy Haman has kept busy on and off Stage, promoting future TV shows like "America's Strongest Family", and auditioning for the "American Gladiator" show. He continued his tough schedule with Dymatize Sports nutrition traveling around the globe as their front man in advertising. It all came together one day when Andy's availability opened up a bit..... The meeting set off a firestorm of ideas! The story-line started clicking and making things much easier with Andy Haman around. He played an important roll in developing the story. Andy's Image had always reflected a Super Hero Image... Comic Artist Tom Nguyen stepped in and there it was... Holy cow!!!! IRON HEAD, a comic book Super Hero designed so closely to Andy Haman...It was profound. Usually, you try so hard to make an actor look like a super hero.... This time It was easy because he was right there in the flesh. 

Teaming up once again with Director Thomas Martwick, we immediately began production..."But wait... we need a budget?" That's where we figured KickStarter supporters could help. While we do have some of our steps covered in pre-production and production itself, we will need support in making this film a reality. It's just such a good idea, and this kick starter program can help make this movie without the red-tape politics from the studios... By offering pledgers exciting rewards and on set experiences, and building a team on top of our team, This picture can become possible and give you the opportunity to say... "Hey, I was part of that!" We have a lot of talented people working on this project right now, and distribution is a step away with companies like American World Pictures. Having a budget is a bone-crushing reality in film projects, and unfortunately, it's either a "make or break" scenario. Special effects, music composing, actors and specialized crew are all part of making a solid production which requires funds to help support them.

WHAT IS KICK STARTER:

In a nutshell, it's a collaboration of many people pledging to help support a project. Pledgers receive many different types of exciting rewards allowing them to be part of the project itself. The goal to raise a certain amount by the artists must be reached by the end date of pledging. At that point it's either a go or bust. The pledges made can either meet or exceed the amount requested but never less. If the project doesn't meet its goal, all bets are off, credit cards are never charged, and the rewards never exchange hands. This is the time kick starters. Have you ever had and dreamed of being part of a movie, a comic book, and truly being part of something new? If the answer is Yes, then NOW IS THE TIME!

Where we are Now? 

Good question... We are well into Pre-production and just started Production. We have invested time, money, and resources for the necessary equipment items and materials to get us into this. Finding Comic-book Artist, Tom Nguyen, was a blessing and is a big reason that this film is moving forward. However, Artists, Actors, Crew members, equipment and filming locations are all items that need your support. Depending on the budget we raise, we will attach another recognizable name(s) in the feature as we did with Richard Greico "Raiders of the Damned" (ROTD) in the past.

THE COMIC BOOK:

It's interesting how things take shape in a movie production once it gets rolling. In this case, the concept art is actually becoming a real comic book which is just too cool to pass up for Artist Tom Nguyen. He jumped on board with the project recently, since he had already worked with Andy Haman in the past, such as cartooning him for marketing purposes. Kids seemed to dig it. But the really interesting part of this is that the movie and the comic book spawn each other. So this has become a dual effort of sorts. As we plan ahead, the comic book awaits its own showcase, and hopefully we will be able to make that happen with Kickstarter.

Milko? Is that a chocolate drink?

No... Milko is my real name...YEP... I have been on a movie making quest since i was thirteen and i just can't give up. I have delivered pizza's, worked security jobs, worked warehouse jobs and anything else possible to allow me the flexibility to try and grasp a chance at making a really good film. But I can't do this alone. I have developed great relationships and trust with some professionals in the industry. Some people that I have never met in person before that live across the US but have become great friends with through the years as they helped support my visions. These are the same people involved in IRON HEAD the movie. I want to be able to respect their art and allow them to work in the field they love so much. I also want this to be a chance for Kickstarters to be involved in something that will allow them to feel they played an active part in a really good film that will play on the screen.

The Story: IRON HEAD

In the summer of 1988 in sunny california, Steven Walsh was a young comic artist, made famous by his comic book Series, Iron Head. The craze for his final installment "Rise of the Hero" never gets finished when Steven gets into a tragic car accident, putting him in a twenty year coma. He left behind his legacy of the Iron Head super hero, his beautiful girlfriend Sammi and an unresolved feud with his friend Jack.

Twenty years forward, Walsh snaps out of his coma, only remembering vague things from the past like president Ronald Reagan and some 80's music. After a torturing period of rehab, Steven falls into the spotlight once again as he realizes that his comic books have become a template. Not only does his life assume the panels of his comics, so does his identity.

With his life in full bloom, Steve's long lost friend Jack becomes jealous with envy. Realizing that the sum of ideas created for the comic books villain were his, he begins to plot. As Jack finds out that his friends memories only work through the design of the comic books, he assumes the role of his evil nemesis creation, the Evil Vasp. Torn, Sammi, Steve's long lost girlfriend tries to come to the rescue and stop a lethal feud between friend and foe. But the battle is on, creating a surreal world of super hero vs villain. Only reality can intervene and help prevent tragedy from unfolding and concluding what the final comic book panels are filled in with.
