The original A Cat Named Haiku told the story of the day in the life of a mischievous little cat as he learns a lesson in love. It was nominated for Best Single Issue Story in the 2011 Eagle Awards. As well, it was selected for the TogetheRead Program by TeachersandFamilies.com to help build better readers.
Written by Mark Poulton (Savage Hawkman, Avengelyne, Koni Waves) and illustrated by Dexter Weeks (Avengelyne, Koni Waves), A Cat Named Haiku 2 finds Haiku learning a lesson on making friends after he has an encounter with the Dust Bunny that lives under his owner's bed.
The money pledged for this project will go towards the production necessary to take the book to the finish line and help promote it on the upcoming con circuit. Thank you for your time and we look forward to bringing you A Cat Named Haiku 2: The Dust Bunny!
