HOLY TINTINNABULATION, WE DID IT!!!!!! I am blown and overblown with bliss! In fact, I'm even moved to paraphrase Terence Trent D'Arby and say -- you have all signed your names across my heart! and there you will stay, for as long as I live. Thank you, each and every one of you, for being a part of "Girl Inventor," which will now be born because of you!!!
And I'd like to report that our KS project's widget has a new home -- in the "Most Funded" tab!! We are in the Top 40 of Kickstarter's Most Funded music projects of all time!!! We're 2 to the 5th, which is to say #32 -- pretty damn cool!!
I'm so excited to start phase two now!! My laundry! But seriously... Next up on the slate is finishing the "Lookout, Science" video -- and some cool news is that Jimmy Vivino (of Conan O'Brien) has just recorded a sitar track and solo for "Lookout, Science," so now we get to integrate that into the final mix. And Jimmy plays an authentic sitar, by the way (no fake sitars here!). And then David Frame will work his editorial magic and it will all come together in the final video, Video #2 of the "Girl Inventor" video album!
