"WHEN THE LANDSCAPE IS QUIET AGAIN" Our 3rd full length record!
- It has been 3 years since we released our last record & now we are coming back with a new record consisting of simply the most compelling music we have ever written. "When the Landscape is Quiet Again" is a concept album questioning whether or not we will last as a species. It is loosely based around Arthur Link's speech given in 1973 which is regarded as North Dakota's "Gettysburg Address." We are very engrossed in what is going on in our world & we see the possibility of it going both ways. This body of music represents our own inner struggles to stay hopeful that we as a species will triumph while we are constantly bombarded with our ever increasingly destructive nature.
Heavy I know, but we aren't always so serious: ) We love to have fun! Thats the best part about being in this band, we get to express our inner most concerns within the music we write, but playing that same music allows us to have more fun than we have ever had in our lives: ) That is an amazing thing!
- We have been blessed with the chance to record it with Kurt Ballou & to have Aaron Horkey do the art for it. These are two of our biggest heroes & working with them on this record will solidify it as the best sounding, best looking & most emotional record we can possibly make.
We have so much faith in this record & in all of you helping us make it a possibility. We have always funded our albums & tours by using money that should have gone to our credit card bills & student loan payments: ) but with the level of professionalism that we are going for with this record we can't fathom to come up with enough money to fund it by ourselves. Working with the likes of Kurt Ballou & Aaron Horkey is exciting for us to say the least, but it is also extremely expensive. They are the masters of their craft & we are extremely lucky to have them on board for this record. But we need you to help us pay the cost of producing this album so that we can make it perfect & take it on tour across the world to share it with everyone!

We are looking to raise $10,000 for the very base cost of making this record. This will only cover the recording, mixing & artwork. We will still need to have it mastered, printed & pressed, distributed & promoted. That isn't even mentioning the cost of the expansive WORLD TOUR we have planned to support the record. So the moral of the story is the more we earn the more we can do with it.

It will cover the base cost of our studio time with Kurt Ballou. It will also cover the base cost for Aaron Horkey to adorn our album with his amazing art. It will cover the cost of the mixing & mastering & that is about it. After that all the other costs of making & supporting a record (like printing & pressing, distribution & tour costs) will lie on us.

We will literally do backflips! If we surpass our base goal we will be able to print & press our record, we will be able to put that money towards more touring, which means more chances for all of you to see us performing the new record live!
