The SoftSkate Cruiser is a one-of-a-kind skateboard with a premium EVA foam grip for maximum traction and ultimate comfort.
It's Soft. It's Bold. It's Grippy. It's Softskate.
SoftSkate was founded in February 2012 as a solution to providing a grip tape alternative to the skating community. Using the same EVA foam found in sandals and surf traction pads, SoftSkate provides an excellent grip and an unmatched comfort.
The idea came along when my good friend Kris Ingram and I (Bret Fredrickson) noticed how many boardwalk goers were skating barefoot at the beach. We knew there had to be a better way, and there is. With SoftSkate, you can skate with or without shoes with the same comfort. Not only do our grips feel great, but they look great too. We will be offering 8 types of two-tone and camo colors from which our backers can choose from.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 so we can put our line of SoftSkate 'beach cruisers' on the market and give our backers the first crack at our product. To do this we have costs to manufacture custom decks, wheels, and trucks. We need your help to make this a reality, so we're offering an awesome array of rewards! So GET A GRIP and spread the word!
