Halfway There!
That's right, we're past the halfway point to our goal at $10,501! It's been a crazy couple of weeks, but bit-by-bit we're getting to our goal! With only 16 days left in our Kickstarter campaign, there's still a lot of work ahead of us. Remember, anything you can contribute will help us make this goal a reality, whether it's $5, $10, $25, $50 or more. I want to thank everyone who's been talking about what we're doing and getting the word out about why this project is important.
Today, we scheduled the date for the release parties for the new method. They should all be held on Sunday October 14th. Please join us at one of the following locations to celebrate: The Chocolate Garage in Palo Alto, CA; Chocolopolis in Seattle, WA; France 44 Cheese in Minneapolis, MN; The Meadow in Portland, OR or NYC; and COCOVA in Washington, DC
In other news, I'm working with an experimental setup to determine some of the operating parameters for the new method. So far, things are going smoothly and we're learning a lot. I anticipate being able to manufacture the first batch of the new chocolate in early October, if all goes well. I'm getting excited to try it out on the full scale!

If we don't make it, none of this happens. Kickstarter is all or nothing, so if we don't reach our goal we get nothing and our backers get their money back. That's why it's so important that we reach our goal. With any luck, we'll ge there.

So . . . what happens if in 2 weeks you fall short by $50? No release party? Or just not going to happen?
