Dear Friends, Supporters, and Loved Ones,
This past Monday we decided to suspend chasing our own dream to lend everything we had to a young filmmaker (Jack Marchetti) in Chicago who is going blind chase his goal of making a movie while he can still see.
When we made the decision funding was at $20,000 and reaching the $100K goal looked bleak. It has now rocketed up to $42,000+ and we have 6 hours to bring this dream all the way home. A massive rally has has happened today. If you receive this in time please visit

and consider contributing. We'd love to make big dreams happen.
Best,
David, Gregor, Karen, Richard and the Goodbye Promise Team.

Dear Friends, Supporters, & Loved Ones,
In case you are not aware. This past Monday 8/20 we made this announcement….
There are times in life when you believe in others dreams just as much as your own. At this moment in time, Jack Marchetti’s story (a Chicago filmmaker who wants to direct a film before he goes blind) is so powerful that we simply cannot ignore it. He has until this Friday, August 24th 9:30pm PST to reach his goal. We are transferring the majority of energy that we would put into our own dream this week to see if we can help Jack and his team reach their goal. Would you mind taking a moment for a closer look at Jack’s 4 of a Kind – Kickstarter Campaign?
So for the last 3 days, instead of fighting for our own ambitious dreams, we have opted to fight for a filmmaker who has dreamed of making his film for the last 10 years. He knows his window of opportunity is closing yet he isn’t going to sit around and wait for it any longer. When we began pushing the campaign it was around $20,000. It is now up near $26,000 and we see people everywhere sharing it. We have 2 days to help get his film to 100K and so our efforts will remain on Jack until time runs out. Then we will return to sharing Goodbye Promise.
Thank you for your time and support. Love having you as a contributor to Goodbye Promise. If you would like to bring another dream to life, please visit Jack’s campaign, watch the pitch video and decide if you would like to help.
Will be in touch soon,
David, Karen, Gregor, Richard & the Goodbye Promise Team
PS - We were really moved by Jack's latest blog, "Ten Things I'm Glad I Got To See." Not because he mentions Film Courage, but because he is capturing what is like to live in the here and now. And to appreciate the things that we do have.
