Jacobs Campbell Dance has launched the Branch Campaign. This campaign will raise funds for the company's 2012-2013, performance season.

Jacobs Campbell Dance is a modern dance company that finds inspiration in the urban and dance in the everyday.  We are a collaborative organization that relies on the input from our dancers, artists, photographers, graphic designers, actors, singers, and professionals alike.  We have a strong belief in the power of movement and the performing arts.  Founded four years ago, the company began in NYC with the intent to bring the human experience to the stage.  

We now rely on you and your generosity to support our upcoming 2012 performance season.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to produce MOVE, a two-day, three-gig, all new performance on June 1st & 2nd at The Living Theater in New York City.  Jacobs Campbell Dance brings an explosion of creativity to the stage in MOVE. Expect to see puppets, props, tutus, roller-skates, and plenty of high voltage movement.

Your donations will sustain our continued work throughout year, and go directly to the company in order to back the expenses of production costs, space rentals, dancer contracts, and educational programming.

We are excited to bring in a guest artist from the historic Bread and Puppet Theater to set a new work on JCD exploring puppetry and dance.  We are expanding by generating funds to produce our dancers' personal choreographic endeavors whose work will be presented at MOVE. Then we head off to Trevor Day School, May 9th, for an educational performance for grades 9-12.  Looking ahead, the company plans to showcase outside installations and workshops throughout the summer, and conclude 2012 with our annual winter concert.
