Party Rock, A Legacy Continued is a documentary which explores the genius behind three influential music industry icons, Father, Son and Grandson (Berry Gordy, Stefan “Redfoo” Gordy and Skyler "Sky Blu" Gordy), all whom created and popularized an influential sound, brand and movement, nearly half a century apart.
This film will unveil the trials and tribulations of Berry and LMFAO’s individual journey on the road to creating their legacy; providing insight to the Gordy genius and depicting how these visionaries used common life lessons and inherent values to achieve success in different social, economic and technological times.
The stories are told side by side, in their own words, as one directly informs and facilitates the other. These parallel story lines will cover similar topics in different eras, and will also reveal how the industry has morphed over the past 50 years.
