John Tejada is one of the most celebrated names in the house, techno and tech house genres of electronic music. He has headlined major festivals all over the world and produced mixes for everyone from Cinematicpod to the prestigious Fabric Live series. 

Kompakt will once again release John's latest studio album, The Predicting Machine, on September 10th, 2012.  We are beyond excited to be creating the first official John Tejada music video to the song "Radio Channel" off of the upcoming album. 

Inspired by the relationship between artist and machine in the electronic music genre, and the flowing, ambient quality of the song, this video will explore a fusion of light and dance. We are creating 4 unique, custom light structures designed by artist Neil Jansen, which will interact with a dancer as we investigate this relationship between humans and technology. The piece will be visual, surreal, and provocative.  

We will be building the light structures as funding goes on and will be posting lots of updates as the work progresses, so be sure to check back in! Once funding is complete we will shoot the video in early September and the video will be edited and released later that month.

I have been a fan of John's music for a long time and jumped at the opportunity to be able to collaborate with one of my favorite artists. The song "Radio Channel" stood out to me immediately with a special cinematic quality. I am thrilled to have a chance to create this video with the support of John and Kompakt Records.
