Jordan and I went to the World Board game Championships this weekend to demo a Castle Dice (we had two, 2 hour slots). It's clear that the word is getting out about the game - half the demos we did were to people who bought the game in the vendor hall and THEN came over for a demo! In fact, the vendor carrying the game (who had a good number of copies) sold out of all of his stock before we even started our second demo session. We donated our demo copy to the game library there for open play.
I'm not 100% sure where the high level of interest for the game is coming from. I'm sure some of it is coming from the Tom Vassel review, but I think most of it is coming from the backers here spreading the word and we are super thankful to all of you. I'm hoping to keep the momentum going - are there any other reviewers that you think we should try to work with? Leave a comment here if there is a place you normally go to for game information and a link to it, and we'll check it out.
Thanks again folks. You have no idea how rewarding it is to publish a game and have so many people like it - particularly when the game took almost 2 years to make...
