Kickstarter

The purpose of my Kickstarter Fundraiser is to help raise the needed funds to produce Michelle's Gourmet Hot Sauce. My goal is to raise $5,000 in 30 days - this will help me with the first initial run that will allow me to begin marketing and distribution of the product. When I first developed the sauce I was excited by the positive responses I received, many of the responses were "....you should bottle this." After having a customer who was a hot sauce lover come back week after week to buy extra hot sauce for her family and then for friends and exclaim it was the best hot sauce she ever had, I knew I had to go for it!!!

I have already designed the label for the product, found a local family-owned company that will be able to bottle my product in small batches here in Maryland and have one locally owned supermarket in Maryland interested in the hot sauce once it has officially been bottled as per FDA regulations. Per FDA regulations  I have already completed my nutritional analysis of the product and have the necessary label and also have my UPC code for the product. The funds will be used to produce the label, pay for the first inital run of the product and help with the marketing of the product.
