With just a little over two days, it looks like we'll achieve our funding goal by the skin of our teeth. Warmest thanks to those of you who've pledged over the past few days, thus helping to put us over the top. I'm deeply grateful, and even more firmly resolved to repay your trust and support by producing the most unsettling, disturbing, borderline-"Is he all right?" comic novel I possibly can.

But it'd be nice to go out with a bigger cushion than this—hey, every artist's ego is a fragile thing and could use all the rubber cement it can get. I know many of you are already supporting other Kickstarter campaigns and doing a considerable amount of drum-beating for them as well, which only reaffirms my view of you as God's finest creations; but if you have the opportunity to give a little extra holla for Baby now that we're down to the wire, I would be gaspingly grateful for it.

And to those of you who are still waiting to pledge...that window is closing. I understand this impulse, and many of the most charming people I know are natural procrastinators. But. 'S'all I'm sayin'.

Thanks again, I'm sincerely indebted to each and every one of you. I'll be back once or twice for even more valedictory confabs as we wind things up. Till then, cheers!
