Camera lens caps are easy to lose. When you do find a place for it, it’s an inconvenience – swaying from your camera and shifting your shot, uncomfortably bulging from your pants’ pocket, left on a table, forgotten in a jacket, or never to be seen again.

A simple, sleek, strong, camera lens cap holder that works with any brand lens cap up to 100mm.

HOW DOES CAP GORILLA WORK?

Cap Gorilla attaches to your camera strap where it is close-at-hand. It uses a super strong, stretchy, and gripping silicone band to firmly hold your camera lens cap or other photo accessories right where you want it.

Cap Gorilla has proven to be a simple solution that works effortlessly.  It serves to eliminates the headache of misplacing or replacing a lost lens cap.  Not that doing so will break the bank, but time lost is opportunity lost. Who wants to miss out on opportunity?

WHY CAP GORILLA DEPENDS ON YOU!

Know the feeling when you snap a photo at just the right moment. That is how designing and prototyping the Cap Gorilla has felt. To get to this point has taken over a year of steady work and hundreds of hours to go from a hand-drawn sketch to a final design.

Your funding will make it possible to:

• Produce injection molds. The Cap Gorilla and Cap Gorilla PRO will be made from high strength thermoplastics. The cost of producing the molds is $6,000.00
• Manufacture in bulk. Unit prices are much cheaper the larger the order.  To order just one unit is just under $100.00 each. To order 1,000's of units dramatically lowers the price.
• Custom order the silicone elastic bands. The Cap Gorilla uses a special silicone rubber band.  You can't buy 10 of these at the local superstore. The minimum order is 500 pieces and requires a custom mold.

THREE MODELS TO CHOOSE FROM

As simple as the Cap Gorilla is we have come up with three variations:

• Cap Gorilla - You can't beat the original. This model works for lens caps up to 65 mm in diameter. Suitable for most entry to mid-level SLR and DSLR cameras.
• Cap Gorilla PRO - Bigger lenses have bigger lens caps. The PRO version will easily hold lens caps up to 100 mm.
• Cap Gorilla PRO AL - For super heroes, dare devils, and anyone who wants their gear to be bulletproof. The PRO AL version is machined from 6061 extruded aluminum and will hold up to the toughest locations and withstand endless abuse.
