Pledge $1 or more
ANY pledge is a generous pledge. For ANY pledge of a dollar or more, I'll give a special thanks on a section of the website, grandrapidsshirtcompany.com.Estimated delivery: Nov 2011
Pledge $15 or more
Finger puppets of some of the most important figures in Grand Rapids history! Your dreams have been answered. FINALLY a little Louis Campau you can bounce around at the office. What zany antics will Charles E. Belknap get into? What kind of hijinx will Lucious Lyon find himself in? One can only imagine. I'm sure the ACTUAL reason John Ball donated the original 40 acres of land that later became John Ball Park was because he wanted to SOME DAY be honored in finger puppet form. That day is today! See the video for more info. Collect all four! (I've always wanted to say that)Estimated delivery: Nov 2011
Pledge $30 or more
Alternate version of the "Grand Rapids 1888 Logo" shirt printed on a pink shirt with hot blue ink. Far too awesome to possibly express in words. See the video for more info. This shirt is only available through this Kickstarter campaign, so get it while you can!Estimated delivery: Jan 2012
Pledge $50 or more
Tie-dye version of the "John Ball is my Homeboy" shirt, complete with sunglasses! I like to think of it as the "Dead Head Version." What, you didn't know JB was into the Dead? He claims to have seen over 200 consecutive shows and lived strictly on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for months on end. "Nothin' like Jer-Bear at Red Rocks in '78," he once told me, reminiscing. Like the Pink 1888 Logo shirt, this shirt is only available through this Kickstarter campaign, so snag it while it's available!Estimated delivery: Jan 2012
Pledge $50 or more
For a second $50 pledge option, you'll get the 1888 Logo shirt, but in hoodie version! I don't know why you'd want to wear anything else.Estimated delivery: Jan 2012
Pledge $75 or more
For a pledge of $75, I'll personally design and hand print you a completely original, 100% unique t-shirt. I'll come up with the imagery, but it will have something to do with Grand Rapids in some way. A unique piece of art that you can wear! To see some examples of my artwork form the past, check out the "Previous Artwork" section at GrandRapidsShirtCompany.com.Estimated delivery: Jan 2012
Pledge $100 or more
For a pledge of $100, you'll get the first six shirts Grand Rapids Shirt Company produces. They're all at Grand RapidsShirtCompany.com. When I launch, they'll each sell for $25, so this is really a $150 value! Your mother always told you to get good deals on Grand Rapids historical t-shirt Kickstarter campaigns. Didn't she?Estimated delivery: Jan 2012
Pledge $300 or more
For a pledge of $300, I will personally design and hand print for you a three-color silkscreened poster of any Grand Rapids historical topic of your choosing. Maybe you really love the neighborhood you live in, or maybe your grandparents were involved in some historic event in Grand Rapids. Maybe your business operates out of a historic building. Or maybe you're reading this on the other side of the country and wondering what similarities exist between the street structure of Grand Rapids and your hometown. Things to consider. The catch is, you can't decide what it will look like-- I have complete creative control over the imagery. It will be a more sincere piece of art that way. Why would you pay $300 to have someone else print your own design, anyway? For a better idea as to where I'm coming from visually and conceptually, please check out the "Previous Artwork" section at GrandRapidsShirtCompany.com.Estimated delivery: Mar 2012
Pledge $500 or more
It's impossible to replicate true natural beauty through a creative object like a painting, a photograph, or a video. For a pledge of $500, you're commissioning a performance art piece consisting of me driving you through some of the most sacred and historical spots in the city to me. This will last about an hour. Dawn and dusk are the preferred times, and I'll have a set soundtrack played on the stereo to accompany, depending on the time of day you choose. Outside of my work schedule (Mon-Fri 8-5pm), this performance can happen at your convenience, but I am asking that it occur anytime when it's not too snowy. Driving in winter weather can be no fun sometimes, and very distracting to the nature of this experience. Before December and after March will be best.Estimated delivery: Nov 2011
Pledge $1,000 or more
For a pledge of $1,000, I'll make a 5-minute video on any Grand Rapids historical topic of your choosing, complete with an original song. Just like the poster at the $300 pledge level, you pick the topic, and I'll have complete creative control over the video. So it could be serious, but maybe I'll use hand puppets. Or maybe I'll make a stop animation video. Or maybe I'll write a goofy song parody. Any Grand Rapids topic of your choosing: well-known, obscure, funny, or controversial. I'll definitely get creative with it. For examples of videos I've made in the past, check out the "Previous Artwork" section at GrandRapidsShirtCompany.com.Estimated delivery: Apr 2012
