Lauren is the founder and director of Produce to the People, a food justice organization in San Francisco, CA. She is also a garden and compost educator and activist that loves growing food and feeding people. She is an avid fermenter and canner and usually has some concoction bubbling away on the stove or kitchen counter at any given time.
She is also an artist and Co-Founder/Co-Director of The Spare Room Project, a community art project space in Bernal Heights.
