Foxtails Brigade is re-releasing the album "Time Is Passed" with more material, deluxe packaging and an animated video by Trisha Gum.
Last year we released an album called Time Is Passed, a collection of original holiday and year-round tunes that we recorded at our home studio, The Sewing Shop.
Initially we created the album as a soundtrack for the film Losing Ferguson which premiered last November. Unexpectedly, we ended up liking the songs so much that we rushed to make them available to the public in time for Christmas. This meant, however, sacrificing any time to promote or do fancy packaging.
Since then, we've had a whole year to listen back, and realized one other thing: we think maybe the record is a little too short.
This year, we want to re-release the album REMIXED and REMASTERED with MORE SONGS, NEW AND EXTENDED VERSIONS OF SONGS, DELUXE PACKAGING (with MORE ARTWORK), and an MUSIC VIDEO by animation director TRISHA GUM (Robot Chicken).
We've been working around the clock on the new recordings and putting finishing touches on the album and are really proud of what it has finally become.
Now we need to raise funds in order to do a proper release of this product.

The video we plan to make with the money raised from this campaign is going to be a complicated and detailed art project. Luckily we will be working with a highly skilled and experienced professional animation director, Trisha Gum. She has already rounded up a crew of other eager animation film professionals who will be involved in the making of this project and presented us with a thoughtfully fleshed-out concept and story board for the video. Along with a detailed timeline and plan of action for completing the video, we have the utmost confidence that we will succeed in producing the film in a timely manner.
As far as producing and distributing the album and prizes to contributors, we don't feel there is much of a risk involved with that. We have already completed the album and are having the copies pressed now. Though the higher end prizes are elaborate handmade individual works of art which will require time and precision, we have designated a substantial amount of time into our schedules in order to ensure completion and distribution of each item.
