Grillo has a writing style that is all his own. I mentioned I have read some of Bleeding Ink’s other works and Sensory Distortion is my favorite. This is 88 pages of tense page turning suspense, action, and horror. I’ve been reading a lot of horror comics lately. Titles from Image (No Place Like Home), and Dark Horse (Alabaster Wolves) to name a few. This book goes toe to toe with those titles and more than a few others. It plays out like a good horror movie, giving us a build up that pays off with some really freaky violent craziness at the end. - What'cha Reading

Sensory Distortion is a project that has been in the works for a long time. About 4 years ago I wrote it as a horror film script. I took some meetings and it won two screenwriting awards. It was then optioned but fell into development hell and was never produced. I really liked the story so I decided to convert it to a comic book script and produce it into an 88 page comic.

Over the past year and a half the comic has been in production. From penciling to inking to coloring and now to lettering. The comic has cost me well over $8.000 and is worth every cent. The $3.000 I'm asking for is to help pay for the last of the lettering and printing costs. 

The story is about a group of college kids in New Mexico that take a Native American drug that unlocks deepest deepest fears. Each of the college students must face their fear or else it will consume them. Can a teenager and his grandfather from the local Indian reservation find them and save them in time? Or will their fear consume them?

If you back for $25 or $40 you'll also get 5 random comics from my collection. There will be a lot of cool indy in there as well as current mainstream comics. 

For international shipping if you can chip in $5-$10 more if you're getting hard copies of my comics that would be awesome. If you can't afford it then no worries. I'll pay for it.

    I'll get a tattoo of whatever you want on my body.It can be a company logo, your face or something discussing. I don't care. It can't be that big 3x3 inches is ideal and I would like it to be on my legs, back or arms but I'm open to talk about it. I will keep the tattoo on me for at least 5 years. I'll pay for the tattoo unless you want it to look really good then you might have to pay for some of it. I've never had a tattoo and I'm kind of scared of needles but I am dedicated to getting this comic produced. The thought of getting this done is a small price to pay.
