Update #5: The last post (for now).

Posted on February 10

Hello everyone. Now I'm no pessimist but with one hour to go it looks like we might not reach our goal. I'd like to thank everyone for their support, pledges,  and for spreading the good word of Olly. It's been awesome and exciting and an absolute pleasure to work with everyone who got involved. On another note, $11,000 in thirty five days is not half bad. You guys rock. However, it's not all doom and gloom… Ollyfactory is far from over. In fact, its only really just begun. The amount of interest this Kickstarter campaign created has lead us to pursue many different avenues for Olly and Molly. For this reason, we will be continuing with the production of Olly and Molly and maybe even some new members of the family. We're not entirely sure what shape this may take yet, but we'll keep you all informed over at www.ollyfactory.com. Whatever happens, we want you guys to be involved. Thanks again for all your help, love and support.

It's been great and I'm really excited to see where this goes next. I hope you are too.So its over and out for Kickstarter, and hello to the next part of the story.

Take it easy.

Ben.

Thanks Ben for adding the $100 reward level. I've just changed my pledge to $215. That's 1 Olly and Molly & 2 Mollys. $105 + $55 + $55 = $215. I hope other backers follow the lead and we get this project funded!

Update #3: Testing the app!

Posted on January 31

Yo everyone,

Just thought you might like to see how simple it's going to be to connect your Olly or Molly to a twitter account.

It's not very shiny yet but look how easy this little chap is looking:

Update #2: Olly gets a lady friend...

Posted on January 27

Hello everyone. I'd like to introduce you to Molly, the newest addition to the Olly family. She turns your retweets into sweets!

Molly works in the same way as Olly, just plug her into your computer, type in your twitter username and password, choose how many retweets you'd like to get and click start.

She can also be stacked up with an Olly to release sweets and smells!

At the moment, Molly can release most spherical sweets about 1.5cm in  diameter. We've found that gumballs and gobstoppers seem to work best but we'll keep you updated with any developments on the sweet front! We've added a few more pledges so those of you who have already pledged to get an Olly, can get a Molly module as well. Just click the 'manage your pledge' button in your Kickstarter profile.

Take it easy, and as always, give me a shout if you have any questions.

      Hello Molly!! :)

Ben, I'm have bit of a moment here; I'm trying to work out the nuances of the new rewards. So are the $80 & $105 rewards the following?:

      $80 reward: includes an Olly ($50 reward) & a Molly ($55 reward)?
$105 reward: includes an Olly stack ($75 reward) & a Molly ($55 reward)?

Also, what would I specify if I want an Olly stack & a Molly plus 1-2 separate Molly's? ;P

      Cheers Matthew

Update #1: News from the Ollyfactory...

Hello everyone! We've been hard at work at the Ollyfactoy making Olly even more amazing… Thank you so much for all your support so far, it's been awesome! We're nearly at the $6000 mark which is super cool!

And it's all down to you - So thanks a bunch. But we still have work to do!  Twenty days left and $29,000 to go is no easy task, but it can be done, and it will be epic! It's time to take to the streets, activate the Twittersphere and start making some LOUD NOISES. God speed my lovely pledging pals.

Also, remember those other modules we mentioned? Well, there's a certain little someone we've been working on, here's a little TASTER….
