Update #4: It has been a year
Greetings to all,
Up here in Anchorage the seasons are changing along with the colors of the leaves. No snow on the mountains yet, but soon. Exactly a year ago today the original Marginalia exhibit took place, which seems like a wonderful time to update everyone on what’s been going on.
It has been a busy couple months since the Marginalia road trip / exhibition came to a close. We have been developing photographs, processing the whole trip, working hard on the show catalog, and planning for the future. Just last week I completed screen-printing a poster to commemorate the trip, copies of which will be mailed out in a little over a week. I got a little carried away and printed some glittery bumper stickers too. If you have a spot to stick one let me know and I will include it with everything else sent out.
After over 11000 miles of driving our truck, the beautiful blue star of the trip, broke down in Okemah, OK (the birth place of Woody Guthrie.) She has been resting there enjoying the heat, almost ready to continue west.
It is looking like the catalog will be finished and printed by the start of the New Year. Which is exciting. I will write again when we have more detail regarding it and any other developments. Thanks again for all your help and support.
Update #3: Here We Are Again
Hello,
The trip has come to an end. With so many wonderful stops and outstanding people along the road this is a hard thing to admit, but looking out over Anchorage it is even harder to deny.
So what now? We are in the process of updating our website with pictures from the trip and info about our many stops. Once this is done we will send out another update.
A poster is in the works and the catalog is well under way.
Thanks again to everyone for their kind support of this project. We will be in touch.
Update #2: THANK YOU! WE DID IT!
