Everyone loves a parade!

Every year Nevada does something completely unique in the United States. Nevada celebrates it's date of statehood with a huge 3 hour parade right through the middle of beautiful historic downtown Carson City. The NV Day Parade averages 200 entries from all over Nevada with antique cars & motorcycles, cowboys on horses, Burning Man & Gunfighters shooting in sequences, Marching Bands and tons more!

We want to bring this one-of-a-kind celebration to the world in a one-of-a-kind way... via the internet!

Last year we shared the Nevada Day Parade with a live streaming internet broadcast with barely any advance notice, only a blast on the website and word of mouth, and received over 720 total viewers. Our equipment was minimal, shared, and pieced together. The headsets didn't work and the cast and crew couldn't hear each other at all. But, WE DID IT! How awesome is that!

This year we want to make it better... more like a broadcast on TV. But to do that, we need some money. We need an upgraded computer, headsets that work and the software to put the graphics up on the screen. This includes wireless intercoms so we can communicate with the camera guy filming while standing in the middle of the street as the marching bands pass to either side. We want our parade hosts to be able to hear each other and the director this year as well.

So please pledge whatever you can... And tell your friends! The best way for the word to get out about our project is for everyone to tell three friends ...and they'll tell three friends... and so on, and so on...

We will give a heartfelt thanks to every single backer with your name listed on our website on the Broadcast Page where the Nevada Day Parade will be shown live as it happens. Give a little more and we'll talk about you on the broadcast, and we'll put your Name & Photo on the screen during the parade as a backer. Higher pledges will receive a DVD of the parade (that has your name and photo in it) and all of the aforementioned stuff plus a cast or crew Nevada Day Parade Broadcast t-shirt. Pledge the top level and get all of the incentives, PLUS an Executive Producer Credit with a plaque to hang on your wall.

Remember, when (not if) we reach our goal and you still want to pledge... You still can! This amount is just the very minimum we need to improve the broadcast from last year. We have a whole list of items we could add to the production to make it really sing... and we would love to hear the music!
