weeks ago Tyler informed us, with tears in his eyes, that he felt God was calling him away from Price Hill and to a new ministry. It was hard to hear, but we believe that there are great things in store for both him and us as we continue on.
In hindsight, God has been preparing us for this moment with Brock taking on more of a co-leading role and the business roles being spread out amongst the different band members. It’s encouraging for us to look back and see that God knew what He was doing all along.
It’s hard to see Tyler go, but we are excited about the next chapter in our story. We won’t miss a beat when we start recording our new album September 10th with The Digital Age, and all of our bookings still stand. The goal of Price Hill has always been to make Jesus famous using the gifts that He has given us, and that is what we will continue to do. The four remaining families feel strongly about moving forward as Price Hill and we all deeply believe in this ministry.
We ask for your prayers as we continue on. There will be a lot of new challenges for both Price Hill and Tyler, and we just want to follow what God has in store for us.

Letter from Tyler:

Dear Friends and Family of Price Hill,

Over the past 12 or so years God has taken a scared 13 year old little boy and has used Price Hill as a platform to shape me into the follower of Christ and the man I am today. God has given me so many amazing experiences through this ministry; this is why it very difficult for me to say that it is time for me to step away from Price Hill.
For the past two years I have been wrestling with what direction God has been calling me in ministry, which has led me to this point and my reason for writing this letter. Although I am not 100 percent sure what the future looks like, as the David Crowder song says, it is time to “risk the ocean.” I know that God has a plan and I am excited to be apart of it. As I move forward in ministry I will continue to play music and write songs for the Kingdom.
First of all, I would like to thank God for allowing me to be apart of this ministry as long as I have and for being a God who cares for His people, shaping and molding them for His glory.
I would also like to thank my wife, Caitlin, for the support she has given me since we first started dating and the support and love she continues to give me as we go on this new journey together. Thanks to my family who has loved me, prayed for me, and was willing to stay up long nights as I walked through this.
To Pj Piper, Darla Coppins, Scott Smith, Sean Morrogh, Mingo Salinas, Allen Frans, Rocky Hernandez, Mike and Jeanne-Mari Horton, Steven Gaither and Dale House thank you for your prayers and support over the past 12 years. And to Brandon Mergard, Matt Smith, Seth Mueller, Robert Willis, Caio Slonzon, Adam Crowell, and the countless musicians that have helped us out over the years when we needed a fill, you helped make this ministry what it is today and thanks for allowing God to use you in his plan. To anyone who has ever attended a camp, church, or event where we were given an opportunity to sing, thanks for singing with us and pouring your hearts out in song to our God.
And to Aaron, Justine, Brock, Allie, Kevin, Sarah, Chris, Mandy, Ramona, and Max first off thank you for understanding and second thank you for allowing Caitlin and I to be a part of your family and to work along side of you in this ministry. You will always have our support, prayers, and our home is always open to you. We love you all so much more than we can even begin to say. We are your number one fans!
I am excited about Price Hill’s new album and honored to still be a part of it. So as we move on, please continue to support both ministries and keep all of us in your prayers. Our ministries may be continuing in different directions but we have the same goal, to make Jesus famous.
