From Bogus Films comes the first of many heroic tales. A spaceman, A young boy, a tent and a Coffee Machine? This is more than a film.
Hello world, we are Bogus Films and we need your help! You see this summer our team got together and decided to film the all original and all creative story "Two Weeks in a Space ship". We decided that it was our time to begin as a production team this year and we put our minds together to create a FILM. We have unfortunately ran into a wall. Its a wall that a lot of us may be able to relate to. A monetary wall (That darn thing). And though we don't like to see ourselves as beggars, we must now reach out to our friends, family, and most importantly our fans for support and help.
This film is going to the 15 minutes long (Believe it or not, the biggest and best project we have worked on yet) and it is going to be a comedy. The log line of the film is: A young boy, fed up with life, finds a reason to live while building a spaceship with a "spaceman" in front of an electronics store. We plan on filming the weekend of July 9th. We have written the script and pre-production is on the way. Location scouting has begun, budgeting is in action, storyboarding is in the works and there is still so much to do. As a crew we have a director, assistant director, production designer, cinematographer, tech specialist, screenwriters, talent, and love. The film is going to be filmed outside and it will be shot in that beautiful Colorado summer weather. Unfortunately we are still lacking some very important things.
Your funding will go towards: Food for the crew of the set (Unfortunately when you make a movie, you still gotta eat), lights and lighting equipment, Cameras and sound equipment, film for the camera, makeup, costumes, props, transportation, and possibly even some coffee (so we don't fall asleep while shooting!) You see, without any of these things, it is nearly impossible to make this movie all that we want it to be. We want it to be magical, brilliant, real, exciting, funny, and we can do all these things with the help of you. Our finished product will not disappoint and even a dollar can buy a jelly donut for a hungry and over worked production assistant.
