The Finished Product: HEX6AGON is the newest material exploration, following FACET by Process + Content, bringing transparent vinyl to color your world, in an interactive + customizable tiling system, featuring colorful, geometric shapes. 

The 6-sided HEX6AGON are precision cut ( 4-sided diamonds are included in certain packages). HEX6AGON allows you to color the external world, adding color + pattern, in a clean + graphic way, with modern design + an undertone of whimsy. 


HEX6AGON comes in four transparent colors: Golden Yellow, Turquoise, Tele-Magenta + Ice Blue. Transparent vinyl is perfect for window applications, it  doesn't obstruct your view, but colors it. Layering HEX6AGON transparent tiling vinyls create additional colors + alludes to other geometric shapes.

Why Kickstarter:  As a designer, exploring media + applications is an investment of hours. Kickstarter would finance machine hours, improving accuracy, shortening production time. Purchasing material in bulk in combination with access to machines will lower costs + pass the savings on to the consumer. 

Where to Use: HEX6AGON is a follow up series to FACET. HEX6AGON can be used both indoors + outdoors for up to 5 years. We recommend using HEX6AGON on glass surfaces, like windows, mirrors, even bottles, as the adhesive is "permanent".

Depending on the number of tiles you have, you can use HEX6AGON in differently scaled spaces, or on objects, providing visual definition. HEX6AGON will color your space, variably, changing as the day progresses.

How to Use: Pick or design your own pattern. A printed reference sheet will be included in shipments. Start with a cleaned surface, follow cleaning product recommendations for your specific surface (avoiding oils).

Consider your layout, think about the design. Do you want it centered or floating? Start in a corner  for linear patterns, or from the center, for radiating patterns.

HEX6AGON tiling vinyl allows for both wet or dry application. The 3mil vinyl has enough of a lip for you to perfectly butt-up each tiling vinyl. HEX6AGON is easily cut with scissors or an Exacto knife for a custom fit.

Layer HEX6AGON over other tiling vinyl, to create new colors.
Play with negative space, your natural view becomes an additional color + texture in the patterns.

Permanent adhesive. Cleanly removes from glass. Do not apply to precious surfaces, may damage upon removal.

Expected Lifespan:  A clean surface will give HEX6AGON the best start. You can expect HEX6AGON to "stick around" for 5 years.
