A Christmas Carol - two projects in one.

Who I am

I'm Jason Woods, an actor, director, writer, musician and composer in Northeast Florida.  

What I'm doing

The funds from this Kickstarter Project will enable me to complete my one man adaptation of A Christmas Carol and bring it as a theatrical event to venues in St. Augustine, Florida, and extended venues in the future. I will tell the entire story by acting every character from Scrooge to Tiny Tim (over 25 in all!).  I will also be providing original music for the show which will bring a cinematic quality to this production.  

Your support will not only make this possible, but it will also allow me to finish recording, editing and mixing the audiobook, and therefore soon be able to make it available to people all over the world through iTunes, Amazon, Bandcamp, and other sites.  The audiobook will retain the cinematic flavor of the theatrical production, and I also plan to make the music soundtrack available for download as well.

Production Team

I'm being produced by A Classic Theater, comprised of Jean Rahner, Anne Kraft, Anne Curtis and Deborah Dickey.  A Classic Theater brings classic and new works to venues in St. Augustine, Florida.  Jean Rahner and Anne Kraft founded the Limelight Theater over twenty years ago.  I am honored to have a mutual excitement for this project with A Classic Theater.

When I'm doing it

I'll be performing in St. Augustine, Florida, December 1,2,6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, and 16.  Evening performances are at 7:30, and the three Sunday matinees are at 2:00pm.
