After a fabulous 73rd birthday celebration, Lester has a big update for you all!
His album going through final listens and it should be ready to go in the next few days.
All of the remaining perks are at Lester's home and getting packed up. Attached is a photo of Lester rocking one of the fabulous shirts many of you will be receiving.

Good news, everyone!
Months ago, we spoke with Lester & Dylan about the design they had in mind for the special kickstarter t-shirt we'd design for their campaign. We took those notes and talented designer, Shaun Sanders, sketched some concepts out for us. After some more feedback, he settled on an iconic shot of Lester with microphone and the retro-awesome text for "Lester Chambers' Time Has Come."
Shaun is not just a designer, but also a law student, so he was already going above and beyond to help out amidst all his schoolwork. Eventually that caught up with him and we turned to breadpig designer Hadley Rouse, who brought his concept to life!

We all recently met up in Silver Spring, MD for the Freedom to Connect conference. I spoke about this kickstarter project, then Lester & Dylan rocked the house afterward.
Attendees at the conference started a spontaneous fundraiser during the performance and generously donated $1850 to Lester via SweetRelief by the time his set ended. I got up on stage and was so inspired that I offered to match it there on the spot. We, the people, raised $3700 for Lester right there.
But I'm most excited to say that everything is on schedule for this kickstarter campaign! Lester has also been busy signing all of those special cowbells for backers who've contributed over $100. See the photos!
We're also finalize the art for t-shirts, which will ship along with everything else this April!

And the excitement keeps building for Lester's first album he'll actually own -- entirely.
I'm so excited. I've been gushing about this story to everyone who'll listen.
Well, as if Lester's story wasn't motivational enough, our director, Lerone Wilson, stitched together footage from our interview that didn't make it into the trailer, but illustrates just how bad things got.
I cannot thank Lester enough for taking my call all those months ago and I cannot thank all of you enough for bringing this to fruition!
As the final hours wind down, please keep spreading the word, because Lester's time has finally come!
