A fantastic winter hat for skiers, snowboarders, penguin lovers, and kids.

Do you enjoy winter sports?  Have you ever dreamed of skiing or snowboarding with a majestic penguin?  Having it ride along with you as you soar down the hill, sitting on top of your head as you both embrace the wind and bask in the winter sun with open arms and radiant smiles?  Well, I have.  Quite often actually.  So I made the Penguin Hat.

The Penguin Hat is what it sounds like.  It's a penguin sitting on your head.  It is THE hat for penguin enthusiasts - there simply is no other option.

I made the first Penguin Hat two years ago and wore it while skiing at Mohawk Mountain in CT.  The response was great - nearly everyone I ran into was complementing it, laughing, smiling, or asking where they could get one.  That same winter, I wore it while walking around New York City and the response was equally fantastic.  People wanted them for themselves, for friends, and for their kids.  Now, the time has come where I can actually deliver Penguin Hats to those who long for them!

There is one last hurdle though - I need the funds to order the first run of these hats.  $11,000 will cover the cost of ordering the hats in two sizes, and in one color - navy blue.  If there is more interest, I will expand to other colors. 

The hats will retail for $20 (child size) and $25 (adult size).  By making a pledge here, you are preordering a Penguin Hat (or multiple Penguin Hats).  Shipping within the USA is included with any pledge that you make.

With your support I am aiming to start shipping Penguin Hats to backers in early November.  I hope that you are as excited about this as I am and will choose to support this project.  Please spread the word to all of your friends, fellow penguin enthusiasts, or people who have children.  Children love penguins.
