Introduction

Our mission for "The Evolution of a Generation: College Tour" is to showcase talented independent artists who are deeply rooted in the music culture of Georgia and the Southeast. Our artists possess musical talent and creativity that are second to none. They represent a new wave of music that will soon sweep the nation. The purpose for this tour is to bring this untapped genre to college cities around the Southeast and showcase the artists who represent this fusion of dubstep, hip-hop, and extreme sports culture. 

Outline

The college tour is all about showcasing this new genre and culture of music. Featured artists for "The Evolution of a Generation" are Goldyard, MICxSIC, D-Millz, J-Bah, and New Fad Zoo. We also recently added Frekush a.k.a Dawn, who has just moved here from London and has an amazing vocal style that compliments dubstep and electronic backgrounds nicely. They all have emerged to represent this new culture of music in its best form. They will usher in this new era of timeless music built on the foundation of what good music embodies; honesty, creativity, and self-expression.

Goldyard

Goldyard is a hip-hop trio who’s eclectic musical range and off kilter, seemingly unstructured rap style has created a new lane all its own. Their members, A.T., IN DOE, and Flick, have paved the way for the innovators and creators of the future. They currently have an album on iTunes and Bandcamp titled “US & THEM”.

D-MiLLz

D-Millz, formally known as Dearick Milton Jr., is the leading Indie artist in Millz-N-Up. His outstanding skills as a lyricist make him one of Atlanta's premier up and coming recording artists. Born and raised in the Atlanta Metropolitan area, a good portion of his foundation is deeply rooted in the hip hop culture and background of Atlanta, Georgia, his biggest influence being Andre 3000 of Outkast. D-Millz is an emcee who delivers real messages through his gift but don’t be mistaken, he will destroy any beat anyone brings to the table. Another one of his influences is extreme sports. Millz is an avid rollerblader when he isn’t laying down a track.  From the beats to the rails, this is D-Millz.

MICxSIC

MICxSIC is a veteran in the industry. A Filipino rapper from Virginia Beach, he has opened for artists such as Jadakiss and 50 Cent. After conquering much of the underground scene in the NE of the United States, he has now set his sites on devouring the rap game in Atlanta, GA. He is the C.E.O of his label Savage Fam and has released several tracks over the past year - the majority of which were features. MICxSIC is currently working on a series of projects that will soon catapult him into the limelight. Fans, get to know MICxSIC. .
