An Ambitious New Musical

Where in the World? The Untold Story of Camilla Sanfrancisco, is an original musical comedy inspired by the character Carmen Sandiego. We are performing at the 2012 Capital Fringe Festival, in Washington, DC.

At once touching and entertaining, the story follows Camilla, a geographically-savvy top sleuth at ACME Detective Agency, after she is accused of consorting with the criminal organization VILE.  Camilla strikes out on her own: beginning a quest to piece her life back together and clear her name.

Meanwhile, her former colleagues at ACME are in hot pursuit: what follows is a race for clues that spans the globe.  Camilla’s mission is further complicated by encounters with nefarious (and hilarious) henchmen.

As Camilla digs to the bottom of the mystery, the audience is treated to ditties and dances with global perspective.  Among them are a Vaudevillian ragtime number, a Bollywood-style bhangra dance, and an Argentine tango.

We Need your Help!

We have locked in dates to bring this ambitious project to the stage, but so far all costs have been paid out of pocket. Our production company has big dreams, but a limited budget. All the talent is in place, but we need your support to provide fantastic costumes, a killer set, and promotional materials to ensure the show is a success.

Here are some projected numbers from our budget, so you have any idea how we will employ our funds. A lot of this has already been paid out of pocket!
