Ah that sucks dude if it's a codec prob it could be either fortunately i got it working ok off a smart phone and they are notorious for hating anything other than youtube for videos

I tried to watch the promo video, but a lot of Kickstarter videos have codec problems for me, where all I get is a green smear.
Apparently it's neither isolated, nor universal. I wonder if it's hardware-based or software-based.

As one of the $25 backers, I'd love to respond somehow to what Kiwamu is saying, but all I can hear is "whine whine me first whine."
not terribly interested in a T-shirt, but I love figurines. The dakimakura is also tempting. I'm trying to figure out if I want to be that big of an otaku.
Current funding is $16.7K. I predict the $18K goal will be broken by noon, Sunday.

I'd seriously expect Candy to be either in the promos already or perhaps in the deck. She's too key of a figurehead for Soda Pop to leave her out. Besides I am sure in the promo video on the page I have already seen her art for the cards and a strong hint that she'll be present.

@Kiwamu - Calm down buddy, it's just a stretch goal. It's not personal; they're just trying to provide an incentive for "Grabby hands" backers to upgrade to the "school spirit" level. You're still going to get the game and that's what you wanted in the first place, right?
@Michael Butterworth - You could always think about commissioning an illustration of her separately (wink-nudge), but of course then she wouldn't be a part of the Tentacle Bento promo cards!

@All the fingers - You guys are seriously complaining? You threw out cash for the base level stuff, you want to see what some of the other kickstarters have their streach goals started at? For one - Zombicide was at the $100 pledge. Here's a hint, throw the extra $15 dollars on watch our stretch goal get hit like a school girl at a tentacle party, and enjoy getting a T-shirt and new awesome little figurine at a hell of an awesome price. To be honest, I see no problem with the current state of play. Having seen other Kickstarts I was surprised that the pledge level for the first stretch was not $50. Just my thoughts.
I think we just need to kick back and see where things lead to from here, I don't think Soda Pop are going to purposely try to alienate the majority of backers. As for a model be the first stretch bonus, this is a throwback to SPs beginings (and still the core of their sales). In many ways it would be one of the easiest rewards for them to produce.
I just wished I could find the cash for the Science Club plegde......I would love to see an anime rendering of my wife.

Man, oh man kinda weird to see a few people upset about a stretch goal that encourages people to up their pledge. From what I can see there's two purposes for stretch goals: one purpose is to gather more funding and the other is to further reward backers. The two are not mutually exclusive but each individual stretch goal tends to favor one or the other. This early on in this project it makes sense to favor fund gathering. If anyone should be on the receiving end of "the finger" for this kind of stretch goal it would be the 4796 backers of the $100 level for Zombicide for pledging the extra $25 to get all the cool stretch-goal bonuses that were not included at the $75 level (to compare, only 107 people pledged at this lower level).

Let's all play it cool and try not to be totally entitled... I'm sure they'll post quite a few more goals over the month, with associated rewards.
This sort of thing is why Kickstarter lets us adjust our pledges. Personally I'm not overly excited by a mini (they're just not my thing), but if they were to add, say, a tentacle monster plush, I'd seriously consider adjusting my pledge and not whining about it.

@Kiwamu: Also, this games MSRP is more likely going to be $29.99, so your reward at $25 is the game, early, shipped, no taxes (unless you aren't an American then.... Sorry) it'll be ok. Just be positive and ask them what you'd like (like I did) and they'll try to accommodate based on what they can afford. Being confrontational, while it may be your nature, doesn't endear your position to the developers. I'm sure others felt like they didn't want all the extra stuff (like me) or just wanted some ala cart items they can afford ( like you). @Kiwamu: hey man, let's try to be more positive. I've found that almost all projects I've backed (and it's been a lot) will always listen to their investors. And that's what you are (or should think of yourself as). There will be many more stretch goals to try to attain, many more days to do it, and we should just enjoy the ride.

@Martin Well It's always a bit of pain to see that higher tiers get served first in the stretch goals. Why not start at $20.00 and work your way up.
Don't get me wron everybody. I'm fine with higher tiers getting more. It's just announcing the first stretch goal to be for a higher tier first is what I don't like. Who says we will reach the next one?
