We all tried to ask him to update more. Some of us even in person at conferences (DerbyCon, Hack3rcon, etc). He either doesn't care or isn't making progress and trying to hide it. I would request a refund, but that request would probably also go unanswered. Zero response to any possible way I can find to contact him.

5 months late for delivery, and 2 months since the last update, this project is completely and utterly hopeless. This guy is single-handedly ruining the trust I had in Kickstarter. It would be fine if he would even tell us what's going on, or if he can't deliver. Just anything, open up a line of communication.

Kickstarter needs to start some sort of rating system for campaigns. Questions like: How would you rate communications from the project? Would you support another project from this same person/group? etc etc

I'm able to find lots of ways to contact him, he just hasn't replied to any of them. I don't see any updates on any of his projects, I know he was working hard on the Katana project at DerbyCon. I hope everything is okay...

thanks eth3real for the twitter. I looked around and it seems he stopped tweeting around the mid-end of oct. prior to that he was tweeting consistently. the same with his website site.

makes me think he either went on vacation (dont know about this bc 2 mths+ vacation is a long time) or something happened to him personally. its not like the $30,000 before amazon and kickstarter fees was enough to ruin his name or run off and live on lol. I am going to put my money on that something happened to him.

i hope i am wrong and he did take a vacation but thats my best guess

Good to hear some support for him, not expecting miracles if its delayed its delayed (the nature of the beast when producing to the masses) guess its a bit worrysome since KS is getting bad press as of late of projects going bad. Hope he responds eventually though,your right with that though communication can solve all the uncertaincy.

I haven't herd from him since September i had meet him at derby con and it seemed promising so i joined the kick starter. he is a nice guy i think he will pull through but i don't know if it will be in December but communication could help solve that.

A simple message would clear this all up the fact there haven't been one at all makes me think he bailed and ran. But until the end of december its hard to say. I really wish he prove me wrong here (even delayed if a message is shown would be nice to see)

It was great to meet you at derbycon and see the glitch. the sd card that comes with it does it have enough room to hold katana.
