For those who have not had a chance to renew, I'm hoping that you'll take a minute to go to my new Kickstarter page at http://kck.st/13nc4wP today.

If everyone who pledged during the first campaign simply renewed their pledges, I would not only exceed my goal --- I would be able to raise enough for the second part of the budget to help pay for the production of the digital books and prints.

This is a very challenging and dangerous shoot and I need everyone’s support to pay for security while shooting on the streets of Rio.

I am also going to need to pay much more for a place to stay because the place I had budgeted is full of spiders and they are creatures that I will not share my living space with!

I've relaunched my Brazilian Street Diary project!

I'm back! Even though we didn't meet our Kickstarter Goal in December, I'm more determined than ever to return to Brazil to finish my story about child street gangs. Can I count on you to renew your support for Brazilian Street Diary?

I thought this was worth thinking about. I have and thought I would share it with all of you.

May the New Year bring you all that you wish for plus sucessful endings and exciting beginnings . . .

I will be back - and meanwhile Robert Smits of REMER house in Rio is about to open his Crack Clinic to treat street children who are now addicted to crack !   This is the new epidemic which has replaced their glue sniffing - making this past addiction look like a blessing compared to their soul- destroying crack smoking !   It seems to get worse instead of better while the country gets richer and the economy more powerful. !

I will keep you posted - stay warm and safe and happy.

To All my Backers and my FB Likers and supporters -

hoping you had a merry few days - not too stressed and fun. Here comes the first snow storm for us on the East Coast.  Stay warm and dry and wait until the sun comes out again before making that snowman or snow-woman. Those of you who are around the world, hopefully you all have good weather and won't see any of us on television digging out from under snow drifts in the dark!

Ref: Brazilian Street Diary - I am looking at different sites to re-launch my crowdfunding efforts. I have a choice of two very different ones and I need to make some decisions. I could really use a crystal ball.  Any one out there have one for me?
